Recorded live at Vicar Street in Dublin, Ireland on October 26, 2001.

In October 2001 Paul Brady played 23 nights at Vicar Street in Dublin, revisiting the whole of his career. He was joined by a whole host of special guests, with this particular night's pairing of Bonnie Raitt and Mark Knopfler perhaps the most interesting to me (although I'd like to get hold of the dates with Andy Irvine, if they were taped...)

Knopfler plays guitar throughout this gig (from his entrance for Nothing But The Same Old Story) so I've only marked those songs to which he contributes vocals. Bonnie Raitt also drops by at Mark's request - she was due to be joining Paul et al. the following night, but Mark wasn't able to stay around to see that show.

The best document of these unique gigs is to be found at Paul Brady's own official site, although the setlist omits Arthur McBride and the text manages to misidentify Knopfler's songs. Nonetheless, it provides an insight into a chaotic (but immensely enjoyable) show.
