Recorded live at the
Theater Of The Living Arts
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 24, 2000.
"I had no earthly fucking idea why I started a record label
until this record came out."
(Steve Earle on Kids In Philly)
Cracking hometown set from Philly's finest to celebrate the release of their
Steve Earle-produced
Kids In Philly, shortly before they began a stint as his support act
for the Transcendental Blues tour. The version of that album's title
track that the two perform together here is perhaps the best I've heard.
