Taper's notes

Recorded from stereo mics clipped to hat 6' from the ground spaced 6" apart. The show was recorded about 150' back from the center of stage in the audience.

The show rocked and luckily I was in the seats 15 feet behind the soundboard, but the fans were definitely a let-down. No apparent energy from the masses. Blame that on the Clear Channel sponsored event. I mean $10 for a beer and $25 bucks for a T-shirt, come on! Anyway, the 22 minute Drunkship Of Lanterns totally rocked and John was literally steaming! I wish I could have been at the Catalyst show as well. Anyway the show was good and it sounds fantastic, it was a good venue for recording despite everything else.
