Recorded live at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on June 1, 2004.

I must admit that I remain unconvinced about both Offspring albums since Americana, but they never fail to put on a great gig - I caught them on the Conspiracy Of One tour and they were fantastic. Returning to this recording, this is a cracking performance, helped by a band who are clearly enjoying themselves and a great audience. The recording is a good, clear audience if a touch heavy on the bass.

The minor niggle, as ever, is that that it would be great to hear some earlier material. There's nothing pre-Smash here; does anything from self-titled or Ignition ever get played any more?
