Recorded live at the Rainbow Theatre (now closed) in London, England on March 16, 1975.

"At this point we'd like to introduce the world's cheapest bass player, who's currently lying on the stage; his favourite position." (before I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight)

Introduced by John Peel, Richard and Linda perform as a duet at the Rainbow's closing party, where the packed bill ran as follows: Sassafras, Hatfield And The North, Richard & Linda, John Martyn, Frankie Miller, Procul Harum and Kevin Coyne.

John Martyn's bass player at the time was none other than later RT collaborator Danny Thompson. Some lists refer to an unknown bassist on some tracks during Richard & Linda's set; in reality this is simply Richard's bass pedal, jokingly referred to as, "Percy the Bass Player". Thanks to Arie for the clarification!

This is a pretty good audience tape for the era, although somewhat muffled by today's standards. Hokey Pokey from this gig was officially released on Over The Rainbow, an official (albeit incomplete, and in certain cases overdubbed) document of this event.
