Richard Thompson Band - 1 August 1987: Cambridge, England

Disc 1

  1. Whitefriars Hornpipe/Shreds And Patches (Trad.)
  2. A Bone Through Her Nose
  3. Drowned Dog Black Night
  4. Ghosts In The Wind
  5. Two Left Feet

Recorded live at Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge, England on August 1, 1987.

A short disc, capturing a BBC Radio 1 FM broadcast from the Cambridge Folk Festival. Even with a setlist as short as this (surely not the entire show) there are some pleasant surprises - Drowned Dog Black Night from the French/Frith/Kaiser/Thompson outing Live, Love, Larf and Loaf, for example.

The band is the ever-exhilerating lineup of Thompson, Clive Gregson, Christine Collister and John Kirkpatrick, with the Two Left Feet finale a definite highlight.

Note: There's now a more complete audience recording of this gig, although it does not include Ghosts In The Wind.
