Recorded live at The Ritz in New York on June 8, 1989.
An FM broadcast for WBAI in New York. This bootleg was transferred to CD from cassette, but the quality is still fairly high although there was a one second gap in Turning Of The Tide [now fixed: see below]. The main thing to recommend this boot is a rare performance of the Thompson original Candy Man, played by request. This track never made it on to an album and was only played at a handful of shows.
Although this is the entirity of the radio show, it may not be the complete gig.
Update: The problems with this set have now been resolved. Firstly, there's a pre-FM source which unfortunately cuts Valerie. More importantly, the original FM source (which has a warmer sound anyway) has been remastered, with the gap in Turning Of The Tide closed up (no music was actually missing) and the interviews moved to the end of the disc.
I've also got a copy of this remaster with the interviews left in situ (after Banish Misfortune and Don't Roll Those Bloodshot Eyes At Me).
