Great sound quality from this recording, which was clearly sourced from an FM broadcast. Mock Tudor had been released earlier this year, and the set draws heavily from the new material. Many of these tracks seem to appear far less frequently of late (although Sibella has recently (2004) been resurrected in an acoustic form).

Otherwise, no huge surprises in setlist, which broadly matches the Leeds set from a few weeks later, although slightly shorter (fewer encores). I'd recommend this over the Leeds gig, however, if only because of the sound quality.

In terms of performances, a ten minute rendition of Hard On Me (one of the best I've heard) is perhaps the highlight of the electric guitar playing. Teddy Thompson provides backing vocals throughout, and duets on Persuasion and A Heart Needs A Home.

There's unfortunately some light static on the second disc, but nothing too severe. I believe this may be on all circulating copies.
