Another date from Richard's solo acoustic tour of the UK in Summer 2000. Now if I could just find the opening night (Ipswich Regent, 6 June 2000 - the show I was at)...

Some amusing touches ("A Jeffrey Archer mystery" in Cold Kisses) but otherwise a fairly predictable setlist. The crowd interaction is as good as ever, with plenty of amusing asides (for example before My Daddy Is A Mummy). The habit of playing daft audience requests (exhibited by Long Black Veil at the Newcastle show a few days earlier) leads here to a partial rendition of Hendrix's Hey Joe, excused by:

"I let you distract me again..."
