The Folks Festival, August 15-17, 2003 Planet Bluegrass Lyons, CO

Showcasing singer/songwriters from all over the country, the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival is a three-day music festival offering some of the finest acoustic musicians in the world.

Sunday 6:45 - 8:00 Richard Thompson

The last acts, Richard Thompson and the Indigo Girls, icons themselves and true folk pioneers, both played sets that sounded as familiar as their albums that we've all played a thousand times. They closed the festival with the appropriate blend of class and inspiration, offering their songs as a blessing to an eager crowd. And they were received.
