An exquisite King Of Bohemia is an early highlight in this cracking solo acoustic gig, perhaps the best of the recent shows I've heard so far. The setlist is also pretty varied, with a rare outing for I'll Regret It All In The Morning and no fewer than five unreleased songs.

Of these, Mr. Stupid's opening guitar work recalls Substitute, whilst Should I Betray You? is the first Thompson song ever to have me reaching for the skip button on the CD player. Dear Janet Jackson is a laugh, a corruscating yet light-hearted attack in the tradition of I Agree With Pat Metheny and Madonna's Wedding.

A very clear audience recording.
