Recorded live at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on January 9, 2003.

I've never been the biggest Wilco fan, on the whole finding the band a little too poppy and lacking the darker side of Uncle Tupelo. However, this solo set from frontman Jeff Tweedy is still a great listen.

The first track consists of a pair of poems written and read by Jeff. From that point on a wide range of material is exhibited, both old and new, including three Tupelo songs. Whilst this was billed as a solo acoustic appearance, the band showed up during Misunderstood, and from this point on it morphs into a full-on Wilco show - you can hear the noise from the crowd as they begin to set up the kit.

As for sound quality, this is a soundboard recording:

Note: The artwork made available for download here was thrown together rather quickly using my previous Steve Earle Chiari design and a few photographs from this gig. There are probably better covers out there.
