A superb quality (soundboard) recording of a great Tom Waits gig from the tour for the staggeringly good Mule Variations album, liberated from a commercial boot on the Crystal Clear Records label. The highlights (and there are many) must include the achingly beautiful rendition of Innocent When You Dream, which closes out the first disc.

The Late Show T.V. appearance is slightly lower sound quality than the rest of the disc, but it still sounds pretty good.
